About Coach Pain

In my 30 years in the fitness industry, I have had the privilege of working with many individuals who have served as first responders and in the military.  I am inspired by their commitment and sacrifice and am honored to be a part of their journey.  
  My admiration for those who serve began when I was a young boy looking up to my grandfather who was my first inspiration.  He was a master chef and Sergeant in the army who taught me how to cook, fish and about 3 principles: Respect, Love and Disciple.  Throughout my childhood my grandfather shared about his many losses and challenges in the military and how he had to push forward to overcome these issues.   This has carried me through my childhood to being the man that I am today and has inspired my physical activity and the programs I create for others.   Now, I am humbled to stand side-by-side with the amazing and honorable people who invest everything in order to be the best at what they do.  It is through my connection with these heroes that I have found inspiration to push harder and dig deeper to become the best version of myself.  I use this motivation to create workouts that will challenge and prepare first responders and military personnel to do the hard work that they have committed to.   It is through their inspiration that I have become who I am and why I have created programs like TAC Evolution.

About TAC Evolution

Originally designed for first responders and military personnel, TAC Evolution is our hardest class yet - Coach Pain brings his trademark energy and style to each class; you will be pushed physically and mentally.  
  TAC Evolution is inspired by the physical and mental attributes that are required to serve in the military or as a first responder.  This program is designed to get individuals out of their comfort zone while learning to prepare themselves to perform at the highest level during intense and challenging circumstances.     This program will require you to develop a mindset of toughness and grit while staying engaged with the purpose at hand.    If you are preparing to become a first responder or are considering joining the military, it will require a significant demanding process that doesn't come overnight.  Fundamentals of this program will be key to helping you reach your goals.    If you are looking to step outside of your normal training routine while testing your mental and physical abilities, TAC Evolution is for you.   Are you ready to join the Evolution?

TAC Evolution will focus on building you mentally and physically. The core concepts are:
  • Teamwork - You will be required to focus not only on your own personal needs, but for the needs of others around you, helping to build leadership qualities, not just in the gym, but for life in general.  
  • ​Functional Movement - You will learn how to use muscles that you never knew existed. You will be required to perform different functional movements that will challenge your body and prepare you for the next evolution that you will reach during the course of this program.
  • ​ Mental Toughness - If your mind is not prepared to be challenged, then your body will not achieve it. We have developed an approach to make sure that you are having a get-up-and-go attitude and not carrying excuses on your back. Mental toughness takes time and patience and is one of the qualities that will be used to help you throughout the course of this program. Mind over Matter and you do matter.
